Hike from the Lunelli Refuge to the Cima dei Colesei

From the Lunelli Refuge, take the military road towards Monte Colesei. The climb alternates views of the walls of Monte Popera and Cima Undici to the west with views of the valley to the south. You reach the Forcella Pian della Biscia just below the summit, from which it is possible to climb a few more meters to the imposing fortifications of the Vallo Littorio – a fort dug into the wall during the Second World War and never used.
