From the Lunelli Refuge to the Berti Refuge

From the Lunelli Refuge, take path 101 on a slight slope in the woods up to the bed of the Risena stream. Cross the stream and climb with a series of hairpin bends between rocky stretches and patches of pines. A long traverse leads to ford two streams at the origins of the waterfalls admired by the Pope during the ascent. Finally, you arrive in the Vallon Popera, with the walls of the Croda Rossa and the Passo della Sentinella in front, and at the Berti Refuge.
