Excursion to Monte Peralba

From the Sorgenti del Piave Refuge, climb along the dirt road 132 to the Calvi Refuge, passing through a marble quarry. From here, climb alongside the remains of trenches to the Sesis Pass (2,325m). Continue along the Via Normale Papa Giovanni Paolo II along a debris channel, pass the remains of the barracks and reach the ridge. Follow the ridge westwards to the summit of Peralba, with a view of the Val Visdende and the Austrian Alps.
