Ski mountaineering

When the Dolomite peaks soften towards the border with Carnia, Comelico becomes one of the most interesting territories for ski mountaineering. The itineraries are numerous and cover different levels – from Val Visdende to Monte Zovo, from Padola to Passo Monte Croce.

It is a ski without lifts and without crowds: the mountain in its most direct form.

It requires athletic preparation and adequate equipment. If you don’t know the area, it’s better to rely on a guide.
