Monte Cavallino

A journey to the border with Ost Tirol through different types of rock: dark grey volcanic threads, whitish gneiss, porphyroids with shiny quartz, limestone marbles. On the way back there is the horse carved into the rock (link) in 1770, the work of a still unknown sculptor.
