The troi

The Troi – paths in Ladin – are thematic routes that connect the villages of Comelico by telling different aspects of local culture and life. Each one has a precise theme: the Tròi di Mascri explores the Carnival and its masks; the Tròi di Tradizion leads to the discovery of the cultural traditions of the community; the Tròi di Bacani recalls the life of the past and its labors; the Tròi di Mistieri tells the typical works of the valley. Along the paths you will encounter wooden sculptures made by local artisans who mark the path and amplify the story. They are short and accessible itineraries, a sort of “widespread book” designed to tell – to those who walk – culture, folklore and traditions of the valley.
