Religious and cultural itineraries

The religious and cultural routes of Comelico connect the villages of the valley through historical paths, touching churches, votive capitals, villages and places of artistic interest. These are itineraries that do not separate walking from knowledge: each stage adds a level of reading of the territory. You will encounter Gothic-style churches from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, historic buildings linked to the timber trade, wooden architecture and works of art spread throughout the villages. Walking on these paths also means understanding how the identity of this valley was formed — through faith, work, relationships between communities.
